chocolate week 2021

CHOCO is a series of rapidly-paced performance-making projects as part of our studies at ArtEZ University of the Arts. the child of "choreography" and "composition" – hence choco –, these projects offer the space for dance-makers and composers to collaborate. 

 

why is it pronounced 'cho-co' and not 'co-co', you wonder? so do we. how dare they remind us of chocolate throughout the 7 days?

in 'normal' conditions, the Ereprijs – a dutch brass orchestra–, joins us onstage to realise the compositions. due to covid-19, the composers performed their own works. we explored compositions that were
